Everyone knows your wedding is the most important day of your life, and here at YOU-NIQUE we capture all your special moments. And a little something extra...

Our style is natural and relaxed, easy and unobtrusive. But most of all, it's FUN!

Weddings are a time of celebration, joy and laughter. The drink flows, (hopefully as easily as the speeches!) and everybody has a good time - THAT is what we capture in our images. Not just the formal shots that everybody has at weddings, but the moments that often go unnoticed - the magic touches, the special looks, the little gems that people didn't even know occurred.

Romantic moments, hilarious interludes, touching moments - these all go to make up the whirlwind of your wedding day and we strive to capture them ALL.

A thoroughly YOU-NIQUE wedding...

Our Weddings and Civil Partnership style is based on the same principle as our portraits - very little posed or set-up photography. We often do a small amount of formal group shots after the ceremony as most couples usually require these, but otherwise we will fade into the background and snap away unnoticed, capturing the true emotion of your special day.

On occasion we've been invited to become part of the true fabric of the day and have sat with the guests as they eat their Wedding Breakfast. At other times we have simply captured the ceremony and then left straight afterwards. Our favourite, of course, is when someone hires us from the preparations in the morning until the last slow dance at the end of the night! The longer we are with you, the more chance we have to capture those little magic moments that can make your day so very special.

So here's how it works...

Before your big day... we provide a free consultation prior to your wedding at a time to suit you. We'll talk through the details of the day with you and sort out all the official paperwork. We'll also ask you to provide us with a list of any formal group shots that you'd like, and most importantly, we'll make a note of anything you particularly do or definitely don't want, photographically speaking. After all, this day is all about you and we want you to get the best out of the occasion!

On the day... you needn't worry about a thing! Leave it to us to capture your day in all it's glory. The wonderful highs, the tears of laughter, the I Do's, even the kids getting up to mischief! We'll capture all those small details that you might miss because it's all such a whirlwind of excitement.

(So all those months spent fretting over table decorations, bridesmaids shoes and coloured chair bows will not have been in vain. We'll get in all on camera for you to look back on years later!)

After your wedding... while you recover from the whirlwind of your wedding day, we'll be editing your photos. Once this is done, we'll be in touch and arrange a time for delivery and maybe even viewing them with you too. (Such fun!) Simple as that!

Presentation...

Your wedding photographs will be presented to you as digital files on a DVD, complete with custom artwork on the cover, and optional out-takes. Your images will be un-watermarked, but if you require further discs for friends or relatives, the images on these can be watermarked or not, depending on which option you'd like. We don't like to restrict our clients or make you spend more than you have to (we all know weddings cost enough as it is!) so we don't include prints or albums in our prices. We've come to realise that most people like to have full control over their prints/albums, and now that technology and printers are becoming more affordable and accessible, we've decided to leave this part in your capable hands. So once you have your disc, you're free to print your photos at your leisure, from any source. No catches! (Here are some printing companies who we would recommend). We can provide prints and albums if you would like us to - we've had clients who wanted us to take over all the work (and decision-making process) of designing and ordering their wedding photo books, and that's something we're more than happy to do, although of course, that would also be at extra cost.

Down to the nitty gritty...

Unlike many wedding photographers out there, we don't offer specific packages - again, we think this is restrictive for our clients. Instead we offer blocks of time, so you can build your You-Nique experience however you wish. Simply choose the blocks you would like and total them up:-

The Preparations ........ £100

The Saying I Do .......... £350

The Eating ................... £200

The Dancing ............... £300

Book us for your entire day and we'll give you £100 off! (Because we're nice like that!)

(The small print... 'The Preparations' consists of time with one or both parties as they get ready. 'The Saying I Do' consists of arrival at the ceremony venue, ceremony and formal shots after the ceremony if required. 'The Eating' consists of wedding breakfast, speeches and cake-cutting. 'The Dancing' consists of the post-meal evening shenanigans!)
